jquery and omniture

I'm using Jquery and its Tabs plugin.  <a href="http://fiderweb.com/diag/without/">Everything works fine</a> in my local environment.

But, when I put it on a page with my company's Omniture tracking code and Offermatica add rotating scripts, the left navigation and tabs are delayed while the page loads (all the content displays, and then condenses when everything has loaded.   This is most noticeable in IE6.

This is going to kill me. I hope someone can help.  What is causing this, and what do I need to do?????

Are you using the proper syntax for jQuery? $(document).ready(function () { });

We are using jquery site-wide, to do many global things.  It would be hard to abandon it.

Is it the load handling of the Omniture script?

I ended up using a combination of client-side and server-side, rather than having jquery apply classes and styles (delayed), I'm having the pages served up with the appropriate classes and styles, and just using jquery to change them when the user clicks, or whatever.  There is no delay then.
