cisco ios backup

i have a running switch, catalyst 3570
before upgrading IOS, i want to take the backup of IOS running in the switch
how can i do that

Install TFTP server software on a PC (Solarwinds has a nice TFTP server) and copy the current IOS from the switch to the PC with the command "copy flash tftp". You will be prompted for the IP address of the tftp server (the PC you installed the tftp server software on) and the filename (use a "dir flash:" to determine the filename).
