Citrix: unable to add an administrator

I have upgraded Presentation server from V4 to V4.5 using an access database as the datastore. After a number of issues connecting to the datastore after the upgrade I can now successfully run discovery and connect to the farm.
However, when I try to create an administrator in the access management console I get the error "could not create administrator". This may be something to do with having to use "Slim Jim" to unlock the access database after the upgrade.
Could anyone help me with this issue.

I found a solution on the citrix web site which worked for me as follows:

i contacted support and got the problem resolved.

uninstall amc - since this was an upgrade will also remove "left over" files from the server

reinstall amc
clear cache from mmc console (file > options > delete files)
close amc console
restart citrix mfcom service in services.
open amc console
worked fine.

This also fixed the problem on my 2 servers that are not presentation servers with out reinstallation.

Hope this helps someone.

This worked a treat.
