We have a user who is using Microsoft Office 2007 and his address book is not
working off-line. Is there any reason why?

We have Outlook 2003 users and they seem to be ok.

Oulook 2007 uses URL funda.
Let me ask you if the OAB is configured for Web-based distribution?
Are the .lzx files being generated on the Mailbox server and then transfered to the CAS server?
What is the error that a user with OL2k7 gets if he tries to download OAB?
If we do a Test E-mail Auto Configuration do we get asucessful response from the Autodiscover service?

Rancy:
We have not configured Autodiscover service, we do not need it now.

We have enable Public Folder Distribution but not Web Based Distribution.

What are .lzx files and which directory do they normally reside in?

Outlook 2007 with Exchange 2007 uses Autodiscover and for the OAB to be downloaded we need the OAB to be web based distribution enabled.
The .lzx files get generated in a GUID folder under 'ExchangeOAB' a shared folder on the Mailbox server and there is a folder 'ClientAccess' on the CAS server where they would be copied over and then the Outlook 2007 client through the autodiscover would find the URL's and acces the data.

So in this case we are not using the AutoDiscover. Will OAB still work with Outlook 2007 and  Exchange 2007?

I heard somewhere that with Outlook 2007 and  Exchange 2007, WEBDAV is used to access OAB, is that correct?

I know for sure Outlook 2003 uses Public Folders to store the OAB but Outlook 2007 does not.

Can someone give a definitive answer please? Thanks
