Bit of a strange one. I have installed adobe Acrobat 9.0 and when it launches it opens loads of random PDFS from the computer until eventually it crashes (Im guessing to many versions have been opened) Anyone know how I can stop this.

if possible relocate all the pdf files, that you have in system and try to open the adobe.

so it will fail in opening the file, so it wont crash, then check all the settings.

Still found no fix. Have spoken to Adobe technical support and we have found out that it is profile percific. It doesnt happen on another profile.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

I have fixed this by removing all Adobe products of the machine and then removed all Adobe reg entries in the registry and re-installed the Adobe products.
