Standalone Backup Appliance?

Hello,

Does anyone know of a device that acts as a standalone backup device?
I'm looking for a device that I can drop on the network, attach a tape drive to it, and backup all my servers through it.

I currently use BackupExec 10d installed on an old server with an old internal Certance LTO2 tape drive. This server backs up 3 SQL Servers and 5 other production servers, approx 200GB of data.

I do not want an online backup service. My data MUST stay in my network. I must have physical tapes in hand.

Is there such an animal?

Thanks,
-Mike-

I would call HP and Dell to ask, but a small SAN should be able to do this.

Depends on your budget, and amount of data, backup window etc.

I hope this helps !
