Hi folks,

I'm seeing this error message for one of the two script tasks in my BI job:
"The task is configured to pre-compile the script, but binary code is not found."

I found this KB article (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932557) but it doesn't seem to apply since I'm running SQL 2005 SP2.

Any suggestions?

Open Script Task editor
In the script tab > Set PrecompileScriptIntoBinaryCide= true
Open Design Script Go to menu and select BUILD
Save and exit the design script

If the problem persist, the cumulative package 7 or 9 or even SQL SP3 resolve your problem

Thanks - I still have the problem after following your suggestion above.

Is it possible to solve this problem without installing cumulative package 7 or 9 or SP 3?

Thanks, Pedro.  I suppose what's puzzling is it was working fine as recently as Friday.

We're planning on upgrading to SP3 tonight.  I'll let you know how it goes.
