Sharing calendar & contacts with Exim mail sever.

hi everyone, im new to linux administration and i want to now how can i, if possible, share a calendar and contacts with my users.

Server CentOS with Exim mailserver.

Im using thunderbir to read email (imap).

Hi,

You can not. I mean you cna of course do it but you'll need additional software to do that.

You need to use one of the OpenSource Groupware applications like:

Zimbra: http://www.zimbra.com/
OepnExchange: http://www.open-xchange.com/

etc.

For thunderbird you can try to integrate with LDAP alongwith imap. You can have a directory of users for your organization that everybody has access and you can manage it locally.

Finally i decide to share my gmail's calendar and share it with Thunderbird and lightning.

I didn't know that you had a gmail account :) BTW it will allow you to share a calendar and contacts if you have set-up a google appliance account. Other than that you'll be using your calendar personally which is not in the context of your initial question.
