Hide User Control in VB

I would like to hide this usercontrol in code behind vb if Session("hide") = "yes"

 <uc1:flashMovie ID="flashMovie" runat="server"></uc1:flashMovie>

This code is not working
 Dim ctl As UserControl
            ctl.FindControl("flashMovie").Visible = False

Hi,

Have You simpy tried using:

flashMovie.Visible = False

Or you can try:

flashMovie.Attributes.Add("style", "visibility:hidden;display:none;")
