SSRS Report Header and Footer
HI i am a newbie to SSRS, could anybodyplease tell me
what information do i have to include in the Report Header and Footer in general ?
for example if i am developing a summary report which provides the total number of patients by sex and age band,
what do u think best fits in the header and footer metadata in the above example ?

OK Thanks for the information Auric..shall i use a text box for header and footer ? and also can u please give me the expression for adding 'Between StartDate and EndDate ' Parameters in the report header ?

Typically, my report header will include a meaningful name for the report, in this case something along the lines of Patient Demographic Summary, the company logo, if the report has any parameters I also include them here. For example if you have a date range you are reporting on I would say something like
Patient Demographic Summary (larger text, bold perhaps)

Between StartDate and EndDate
As for the footer, I usually put the Page number, the Execution time (Globals!ExecutionTime)
In my line of business, a lot of our reports are Company Confidential, or Department Confidential, so I usually note that on the report header or footer as well.
