I have a client that is using OE 6. When we view the contents a message in her inbox, it shows the contents of a different message that is in her inbox. This only occured on 2 messages today - they are unrelated. AntiVirus (nod32) is up to date.

ping1000--Just guessing that the OE folder involved is corrupted.
Compacting might clear that up.

I created a temp folder, closed OE and renamed inbox.dbx to inbox.old, then renamed temp.dbx to inbox.dbx, then renamed inbox.old to temp.dbx.
I then copied the needed files from the temp folder back into the new inbox.
Seems to be solved.

ping1000--Good to hear the news.
I do not know what to say.  It seems the same files wound up in the new inbox.dbx.  I do not know why that would fix anything unless some of the old messages did not make it and the same end result as compacting was accomplished.  Consider compacting in the future.  Or deleting unnecessary messages and or grouping them into new .dbx folders.
