Id APPRECIATE LINKS TO A GUIDE TO CHANGE DEFAULT LOCATIONS OF PROGRAMME FILES AND MY DOCUMENTS FOLDER WHEN REINSTALLING XP PRO
BASICALLY 2 DRIVES ONE WITH O/.S ON

2ND DRIVE TO HOLD PROGRAMME & APPS & MY DOCUMENTS FOLDER WITH THE END RESULT IF REINSTALLING AFTER CRASH DATA SAFE AND APPS NOT NEED REINSTALLING PLEASE ADD ANY PITFALLS I WILL  ENCOUNTER I INTEND USING RAID 1 FOR 2ND DRIVE THANK YOU FOR HELP ANY CLARIFICATION NEEDED PLEASE ASK JONATHAN

First off, i believe your keyboard is broken, you might want to get that issue looked into first.

Secondly, there is absolutely no way to save your applications from having to reinstall them, even if they are installed to a second drive.
Some older applications MIGHT work, but 90% of the applications these days, need more then just the files on the drive to run, registry entrys must be made to the specific machine.
There is applications that you could possibly try, but they cost money. and I dont believe its what your looking for.

What i believe your best option would be is to Raid 1 or raid 5 your OS drive.
With Raid 1 / 5 you will have redundancy that you are looking for, so that if a drive fails your still up and running without issues.

Raid would be the way I would approach this, but as jamshaked alluded to, you can try software such as Acronis True Image or Symantec Ghost to clone your hard drive, including OS and hard drive.
