how to copy dvd to dvd

Using my DVD recorder , I made copy of a TV movie from VCR to DVD.
now want to make a copy of the disc.    DVD to DVD
copy protection or regions are irrelevant.

just want to make a copy that, like this disc, will play on a home stereo dvd player

I have Nero essetntials and CDBurnerXP
do i need other software?    if so are there any for free?
i tried to copy with nero but it said it could not copy one of the files
  should  copy as an image?
i have 2 DVD burners in my PC
 i am in a bit of a rush... :o)
help please

please disregard my last post
I thought I was adding it to a thread asking that kind of question.
I will start a new question.

As to this thread question, it turns out I am able to copy DVD to DVD with the app mentioned in my first post CDBurnerXP.
Does this mean I can end this without awarding points?
Need admin advice  here...

Yes.. works great... the screen/icons/buttons can be quite overwhelming, but once you get used to it, it's pretty good

burn4free is the kind of prog i try to avoid.
It fits you up with software that tracks your habits and serves up ads and says its privacy policy does not cover information its partners may collect etc etc
......................................
the prog i did use, 1clickdvdcopy was great but expired

Disc to disc copy?  Try IMGBURN (Image Burn...) at http://www.imgburn.com for anything... cd-rom, dvd, even BluRay.  Works great; I live by it. Make a disc copy, or make a disc image to store online & copy later on.
