driver={SQL Server};Trusted_Connection=yes;AutoTranslate=no;server=(local)\rtc;database=rtc;network=dbmslpcn;
Cause: Possible issues with backend database.

Are you running LCS 2005 SP1 Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition?
Standard edition of LCS installs and uses the MSDE 2000 SQL desktop engine locally and installs a SQL instance named RTC.  Verify that SQL services are running locally.
Enterprise Edition of LCS requires a separate stand alone SQL 2005 standard or enterprise  installation to be installed on a separate box from the LCS server.  If it's enteprise edition then your database connection string is wrong as it's pointing to the local server.
