Exchange Server 2003 not pingable
Hello,
We have at our company 2 DC and one of them have exchange server 2003 installed on it.
While everything is working, suddenly the exchange server is disconnected and is not pingable anymore.
We have DNS servers on both of thoses servers. And we have some replication issues. So is it possible that a replication or a DNS issue is causing the exchange server to be disconnected and not pingavle anymore?

we did thoses 2 commands, but still we got the same replication warnings u stated above when we do a dcdiag
Were you able to check and make sure the windows firewall is disable?
I would first definitely address the issue that you aren't able to ping the exchange server. You won't be able to replicate if the server can't be ping.
When you ping the exchange server- is it by name or IP address?

yes disabled and we did change the network card, the cable and the port. We will be monitoring if the server is unpingable again. However the issues in dcdiag are still there
so the server is now pingable?
What are the errors you are receiving in the event logs?

no the server is pingable, and when it is we can ping by IP and by name. Sometimes like every 10-12 hours the server becomes unpingalble. And We have to restart it to fix this issue. We are monitoring it after we changed netowrk card to c if it solved the issue. As for replication, it never replicates. I prefer to demote the other DC and reinstall it from scratch however this is not possible with the replication issue
