Is there a way to start Excel 2007 when another application (third party) is started or launched?
We work in a Lab environment and need to record the utilization of certain high-end pieces of equipment (who is using it) and then ultimately be able to bill the users on a per use basis. After each use, the application is shut down by the researcher, but windows is still running, so I can't just capture who is logged in.
The surest way to record each user is to start Excel when the specific application is launched, in full screen mode, have the user fill in a couple pieces of information, click Enter or Submit, and then Excel closes or minimizes. They are able to then proceed using the application. This code will be used on several machines and each application is different.
