I have Dyanics on a local server within my LAN connecting via ODBC, I have installed MS FRX on a local computer and pointed it to the server i have Dynamics on. When I try to log into the company I created in FRX i get this error message,

Does this also happen when you try to log on as 'sa'?

I tried to logon as the one user I set it up for and as sa, I think this error appeared when I was trying sa.

Then I would suspect there is an issue with the company setup.  Can you verify all the databases are spelled correctly and in all caps?

Yes, I checked that and added another company in the company list, but still have the same problem.

Two more things you can check are:

1. Does your ODBC connection specify a default database?  Sometimes FRx has a problem with that, so make sure that box is unchecked.
2. Does the frl_ofsi_data table exist in your DYNAMICS database?

Also, what version and service pack of FRx?
