How to manage Symbol fonts in Mac os 10.5.6? i am using Mathtype and Indesign cs 3 while adding symbol font in font book it shows only in mathtype not in indesign file.

i am adding Symbol font at System Library Font. When creating equation in Mathtype symbol fonts works fine while importing this equation in indesign file it shows symbol font missing.

What may be the reason?

try placing font in InDesign Fonts folder at programs/Indesign/Fonts

yes i have tried too but nothing happen about symbol T1 Medium font.

yes this fonts is working on lower version of Mac like Leopard 10.5.2 , Tiger 10.4.x

i have solve this issue. It was Symbol PostScript Type 1 outline font corrupted so not embeding in indesign file.

Now i have downloaded a fresh Symbol font and added to Library\Fonts

it is working fine now.
