Font Embedding in PDF (licence restriction)

Hello Experts

I have font which is not allowed to embed in to application development. I wanted to know if there is any tool I can use to turn on the option to the attached barcode font.

All I am doing is to export a crystal report into PDF which is using the barcode font. I am getting this error only for this specific font.

When I checked the property for this font, and looked into embedding tab, it says, embedding licence restricted, no embedding allowed, i wanted to change this to allow embedding option.

Please can someone help?

Thanks

You'd have to modify the font, using a suitable font editor.

But in doing so, you'd almost certainly contravene the terms of the licence you (presumably) hold for that font.

Fonts are like software - they are subject to licences.
Licences for commercial offerings tend to be more restrictive than 'freeware' (or equivalent) versions.
