Let me start by saying I'm not a networking expert. I have been tasked to configure some Procurve 2610's 48 POE, ready for use with a Mitel 3300. I have them setup in a test environment.

Giving out IPs in the 192.168.12.0 range.
Connected to Port 2 on Procurve.
DHCP Scope Option 060 used (Mitel Vendor Class), this points it to Mitel 192.168.203.33 with VLAN 2 info.
DHCP service running giving out IPs in the same range.
Scope option 125 set with all the VLAN info.
Connected to Port 1 Procurve.

This is what happens...
Mitel phones get IP from VLAN 1 (192.168.12.254 DHCP server) and release them on instruction of option 060. They then obtain an IP from the Phone Switch using the VLAN 2 (192.168.203.x).
Phones work nicely.
Plug PC in they get IP from VLAN 1 and work.
I cannot ping from my PC VLAN 1 to Phone Switch on VLAN 2.
This is a problem as I cannot access the Mitel web interface.
I notice that these switch are Lite Layer 3, is this why routing between the VLAN is not working.
I renamed the default vlan and called it Data (VLAN 1).
Is it because I have a MS DHCP Server in the place of a router, so if a real router was used on Port 2 it would do the VLAN routing.
