We have WSUS installed on a server. WSUS is showing all the domain client's as connected to it and seem to be working fine, we me able to administer and download updates for the client pc's to appy. The client pc's where configured to contact WSUS using GPO

However we have a handfull of non domain laptop's that are used by our field engineers. These are not seen in WSUS. Is there a way of connecting the non domain client laptops to WSUS so that they can grab the relivant updates. The non domain clinets either VPN back to the office or physical connect to the office regually.

Many thanks in advance,

as the WSUS settings get done by Group Policy, I would suggest that the non domain PCs will need a registry setting to point them to your WSUS server as they dont get the GPO applied.

I dont know what it is, but i am sure I have seen it.
