Scalar 24 - Blank LCD

I have a brand new Scalar 24 tape library and I've noticed that the LCD panel at the front of the device goes blank after some time. Pressing a button on the front doesn't return the display and the only way to bring it back up is be performing a power reset. Is this normal or is there a setting I can configure to stop this? If neither, would the problem would be a defect with the device?

The Scalar appears to be running a newer firmware than the one available on Quantum's website.

Thanks

P.S. - This used to happen with 2 Superloader 3 devices but since a firmware upgrade it hasn't happened since...

Quantum replaced the unit because it was faulty.
