Frontpage 2003 Publishing Problem

When I try to publish an intranet site on a Windows 2003 IIS server using FP2003 I get the following error;

Server error: The server extensions were unable to access the file ".Thumbs.db.tmp:. Please check the file permissions......

I deleted all thumbs.db files on the my pc and on the server. I also checked the "Do not cache thumbnailes" in Folders Options. I even copied the whole site from my pc to the server and tried the publishing again afterwards, but I keep getting the same error. What could be the problem? What else can I do? Thanks.

now the thumbs.db file is created if you browser your website using Windows Explorere in thumbnail mode.... you should not do this to your web as it will leave behind those files. the .tmp stands for temporary. Firstly empty your temp folders both FrontPage and IE, then You want to do a search using start/search with your computer and locate ALL thumbs.db and delete them - not thumb.db.tmp but thumb.db ....... Then see if you can publish.
