Hi

Why on earth would you want to allow the user to disable VirusScan ?

Also, what part of VirusScan would you want to allow the users to disable ?

Thanks

Just doing what my boss has asked. :)

He wants to be able to right click the shield in the system tray and be able to disable and enable.

Oh....you can't do that with VirusScan anymore.....

I appreciate the comment about your boss :-) but you need to tell him you can't......

You could ask him" how would he like it if he infected the whole corporate network because he turned his on-access scan off ?"

Seriously.....don't even think about letting him do it....

It won't interfere with his work, if he's got problems with certain programs, then add them to the exclusions, but for gods sake, don't allow anyone to turn it off !

Cheers
Si
