HP DL380 G5, Problems with CPU speed (2phys)
Dear community
Equipment:
- DL380G5
- 2 phys QuadCore x5460, 2x6MB 3.1GHz CPU
- 32 GB RAM
Facts:
- When I configure the DL380 with only 1 phys CPU the bios says it will work with 3.x GHz
- When I configure the DL380 with 2 cpus, each phys cpu will only works with 2.5 GHz
I've checked the power settings in the bios...reconfigured from
'Dynamic Power Savin' to 'Static High Performance', but no success so far, same results.
Can someone explain what's happen here?
Is there any switch to show up each with 3.1GHz?
Any performance reduce trough the amount of memory or the double cpu's? Is it normal?
thanks,
best regards,
