Why does the font size increase when sending mail items  from Lotus Notes into Exchange\Outlook 2007?

We have configured Lotus Notes and Exchange to route mail between one another for co-existence during our migration. When a Notes user sends a mail item to a migrated Outlook user the font size increases by 2 points. We get differing results depending on the type of font used in the original mail.

1) Check the font size in the Notes client
2) Check the translation format  of mail in the Person DOC

The person documents are not relevant in this case as the users have been migrated into exchange and their person documents are set to "Other Internet Mail" and subsequently you lose the normal Lotus Notes options for translation. Furthermore the issue affects mail items from Notes into Outlook but not the other way round. Font size on the Notes clients are set to 12 as standard.

Thanks the IBM technote with subsequent notes.ini settings seems to have done the trick.
