Delete a printer !

have you restarted the computer? if not, try restarting.

after restarting, if the printer still remains, follow the following steps (pardon the pun):

1) login through the Admin account of the computer or the domain admin acount.
2) go to start and type in "services.msc" - without the quotes and press enter
3) the Services window opens. Scroll down to P and locate the "Print Spooloer" and stop it by right clicking and selecting stop.
4) delete the printer.
5) select the Print Spooler again and start it. if the printer is not removed, try restaring the Print Spooler Service.
6) By now the printer should have been deleted. if not repeat Steps 3 to 5 once or twice.

Restart the computer to resume normal operations.
