Citrix Metaframe Presentation Server 4.0 license error

In the management console, right click on the server and choose the option to set Presentation server version. Make sure that is set to the correct flavor of Presentation server. Also check that the sever has the correct name for the license server. You may also want to check your terminal services license server to ensure that is activated, and the type of licenses are the same as defined in the terminal services confiuration on the presentation server.
Are there any errors on the Citrix licensing server? When you generated the licsense file, did you use the correct CaSE for the licensing server name?

I already checked citrix version. It is set as Citrix MEtaframe Presentation Server 4.0 Enterprise Edition. I installed Citrix on Windows 2003 server with terminal server licensing for 60 windows 2003 device CAL.

Wish I would have thought of that....

problem is not solved yet..Ho do i find Terminal Server licensing numbers match with the Citrix License Server.
I can see terminal server license are 60 deivce cal but how do i find number of citrix license??

open the citrix lic console of the lic server

Or open a Citrix License file under Program Files\Citrix\Licensing\MyFiles, in wordpad or any other text editor. Check for line started with INCRMENT word

in above example, there are 1000 CCU licenses.

I am seeing first time any license file with 'uncounted' licenses... could you try downloading a new lic file from MyCitrix.com. You can follow this article --> http://support.citrix.com/article/ctx118324
