How do I turn off a NEC MWI (Message Waiting Indicator) light?

I have a NEC IPK with NEC Elitemail.  One of the phones, extension 1101, has a message waiting indicator light blinking but her voicemail is empty.   When I go into EliteMail, her extension, it shows the MWI as off.  I'm not finding any other extensions that are supposed to be lighting up her MWI.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Look in the NEC for the Feature Access Code and dial it from the phone in question. There should be a code for on and off.
Or, you can also turn off MWI from the console if you have one.
