We &nbsp;have several of these devices that have been setup/configured for use with the HP digital sending software successfully. &nbsp;This time, after successful setup and verification that device was on network and authenticated me with LDAP, &nbsp;went to send test scan-to-email. &nbsp;Job appeared to be processing okay, then returned with the error: Error Executing Digital Send Job - Job Failed&quot;. Verified that the SMTP gateway is working okay. &nbsp;Any solutions or suggestion would be helpful.

We  have several of these devices that have been setup/configured for use with the HP digital sending software successfully.  This time, after successful setup and verification that device was on network and authenticated me with LDAP,  went to send test scan-to-email.  Job appeared to be processing okay, then returned with the error: Error Executing Digital Send Job - Job Failed". Verified that the SMTP gateway is working okay.  Any solutions or suggestion would be helpful.

HP 9250 - Error Executing Digital Send Job

A peripheral device is defined as a computer device, such as a keyboard or printer, that is not part of the essential computer (i.e., the memory and microprocessor). These auxiliary devices are intended to be connected to the computer and used in conjunction with it. Examples of external peripherals include mouse, keyboard, printer, monitor, external Zip drive or scanner, while internal peripherals include CD-ROM drive, CD-R drive or internal modem. Today's new devices, such as tablets, smartphones and wearable computing devices are considered peripherals as they can be connected and used on a computer system. Peripherals

A printer is a peripheral which makes a persistent human readable representation of graphics or text on paper or similar physical media. An image scanner is a device that optically scans images, printed text, handwriting, or an object, and converts it to a digital image. Hand-held scanners, where the device is moved by hand, have evolved from text scanning "wands" to 3D scanners used for industrial design, reverse engineering, test and measurement, orthotics, gaming and other applications.

Printers and Scanners

Interactions between email servers and clients are governed by email protocols. The three most common email protocols are POP, IMAP and MAPI. Most email software operates under one of these (and many products support more than one).  The correct protocol must be selected, and correctly configured, if you want your email account to work.
