Adobe Error referring to an application library

when opening Acrobat 7.0, a few seconds after it loads I get the error, "An error has been detected with a required application library and product cannot continue. Please reinstall". Ive tried reinstall and other suggestions that I found by googling with no luck. This is not run in a Citrix Environment. Windows XP Pro

you need a volume license to run under Citrix

Duh, well I misread the part about citrix.

Did all of those things and no luck. User has  unopened retail of Standard 9 now, so I am just going to put new one on. Thanks.
