I am trying to register a third party certificate in Cognos 8 and get an error message.

Did you open Cognos Configuration, modify the password for the keystore, and save (and regenerate) the keys on all servers in the system?

In my case - the certificate was stored in a db and I had to copy the db and key files into the folder I specified in my Cognos configuration
