Display menu only for a specific user in Joomla

I would like menu item or the whole menu to be displayed for a registered user, but
it has to be one specific user id. How to do it ?

I would try this plugin http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/structure-&-navigation/menu-systems/tree-menus/4186/details don't know if it works, because i never needed it.

Hi , I just noticed you reply.

The link to the pluging made me think about authority levels, so I used Special authority level for
the users I wanted to see the menu.
