Adobe gives runtime error on terminal server

I noticed this for the first time today, not sure how long there has been an issue.  On my terminal server whenever I try to open any .pdf file i get this message:

Runtime Error!

Program: C\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe

This application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way.  Please contact the applications support team for more information.

Adobe has been on the ts for over a year at least, and nothing new has been put on the ts for some time.  Any ideas?

Have you tried to reconfigure Adobe Reader in the add/remove programs component?

If that doesn't work, you should uninstall the program, reboot the server,
eventually clean up folders and registry keys that resides from the program,
and install it again (in install-mode of course).
