Hello!
I have purchased Power DVD 9 Ultra and installed it on my computer which runs Vista Ultimate (x64). Earlier, on the same setup I have Power DVD 8 Ultra and my blu-ray discs used to work.

Now, when I play a movie, PowerDVD says "Loading Blu-ray Disc..." which completes and a playback screen blinks for less than a second and the dis-appears. This happened with all my discs not just one.

I have formated and reinstalled my computer with the latest updated OS, Software and Drivers.

There is NO error. But it still does not work.

Please help!

Thank You.

PowerDVD says they have patch for this issue.  It is located at:

https://membership.cyberlink.com/prog/support/cs/product-faq-content.do?id=6702&prodId=1&prodVerId=236

If you still have an issue follow the steps listed on the link above:

Please provide the information listed below, and send it to CyberLink Customer Support.

   1. The name of Blu-ray Disc title, DVD title and the region.
   2. CyberLink BD Advisor log:
Please get this tool from this link   (http://www.cyberlink.com/prog/bd-support/diagnosis.do) and install it, save the detection result

Hope this helps.
