I have an 3G iPhone it seems like the Screen has developed some problem, as a result I am unable to use the phone dialer keypad at this stage.

Changing the Screen is very very expensive & I wanted to know if there is work around this issue, so that I can still use the iPhone to make phone calls ?

Do you have a warranty?
Apple are usually quite good at giving replacement iPhones.

Is it a certain part of the screen which is not working / a certain application which is not working? Is it a generic problem with all apps for the entire screen?

DanielBlaze:

Since the "Phone Keypad" basically the delete button in case you make a mistake,  is not working properly, I was looking for a work around, any suggestions?

I have tried to download other similar application from iTunes store but face the same problem.

It seems like a generic problem with all apps on the screen then.

You could try reinstalling the firmware, but I don't think it's a firmware problem - It's just to rule that option out.

The best thing you can do is to take it into an apple store and have them look over it. They'll tell you whether you are eligible for a replacement or not, and if you have to pay for it or not.

There's not much you can do I'm afraid, nothing you can download will fix it
