Outlook 2007 fonts are discolored

I recently built a new laptop (Lenovo T- 400) for a user and Im having trouble with her Office 2007 fonts. The issue only seems to be with Office 2007, when she opens or creates a document in Office her fonts are discolored, Half of a letter will be a dark color and the other half will be a very light color. Its not confined to a sentence or a paragraph but to random letters. I have tried to change the font settings, size, style through Customize Current View and through Stationary and Fonts but noting has worked. I also tried to install new display drivers and even swapped out her monitor and I still have the problem. Does anybody have an idea on whats going on?
