We have a Cisco 3845 that terminates a T3 circuit from the internet provider. Currently we are contracted for 15Mbps and we are upgrading the speed to 45Mbps.
This is the current configuration of the serial interface:
interface Serial1/0
 description DS3-To-Internet
 ip address x.x.x.x 255.255.255.252
 no ip redirects
 no ip unreachables
 no ip proxy-arp
 encapsulation ppp
 no peer neighbor-route
 dsu bandwidth 15300
 scramble
end

So do I just need to change the "dsu bandwidth" to 45000 to upgrade the speed. The provider has already notified that they have updated their side.

Yes - change the bandwidth settings and you should be good to go from the router's point of view.
