Quicktime logo with question Mark
Using Windows XP, IE7. I retrieve a lot of .mov files via ftp sites. When I click on files, it opens in IE7 with a quicktime logo and question Mark. I have tried the suggestions on the internet regarding unchecking the flash option in prefrences along with many different options. It stills gives that error. It was set before when I click the file for it not to open in my browser, but launch the quicktime player. Is there a way that I can play these files from an ftp site via the player and not within the browser, just by clicking and not download and saving. Thanks in advance for you help.
You cannot stream files from an FTP site. You have to download it...
