Can SharePoint do lists of radio buttons?

I am looking for how to do a page in SharePoint that can have a list of radio buttons with a description? Can SharePoint do this out of the box or do I need to do a custom web part? Somelike this:

Bob       radio button
Jane      radio button
Steve    radio button
Sally      radio button

I think what you are referring to is a "Choice" field. If you need for a user to pick one choice from many, then you can create a list with a column of the "choice" data type; you also have the option to present the selections as a dropdown list, radio buttons, or checkboxes (multiple selections).

Normally the choice field uses a static list of values, but if you need a dynamic list, you could use the "Lookup" field, which pulls items from another list and also displays as dropdown/checkbox/radio buttons.

If you are asking how to present a web part with a set of names to be displayed on a page, where a user can then select one, try this.

Create a list with a single record, and a choice field. Populate the field as you see fit (e.g. Enployee names). Create a view of this list to only display the choice field. Add the list's web part to the page and configure it to use the view you created. Now you have a single choice list that will save this information in a way that can be used by other web parts on the page.

Is the data stored? Meaning that I can select options and choices on the page, close the page and browser and bring the page back up and the data will be there.
