SQL merge replication failure
I have setup pull database merge replication between remote 2000 servers with sql2000. I don't get any errors until I try to start replication. This is the error I get from the snapshot agent.
The prosess could not create the file \\servername\D$\repldata\u
The network path was not found, error 53
How do I fix this.

then the user who is resposible for the replication does not have the permissions to access that folder. give access to everyone on that folder and then check.

Look like the URL could be the answer. Unfortunately the reason I am doing a pull with this database is a problem with drive space on the publisher and I cannot use the default location for the snapshot. So until the drive space issue is resolved I cannot try the solution.

As to access rights I had set everyone to full control to make sure that was not the problem. That Did not help.

The path was not found
and it won't let me use the path. If I get it to use the path I get the same error.
