How can I get the ApplicationUpdaterUI to work (flash cs4)

I am trying to add an updater to an AIR application. I have downloaded the Flex SDK and included the .swc in my project as per some tutorials I read. The error I get is "1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: ApplicationUpdaterUI.". As far as I can tell, this should work.

Does Flash have another method of updating AIR apps?

(I'm giving every point I have :) )
import air.update.ApplicationUpdaterUI;
	import air.update.events.*;
...
	initFunction(){
...
		var updater:ApplicationUpdaterUI = new ApplicationUpdaterUI();
}

you should try just using the ApplicationUpdater class, not the ApplicationUpdateUI class...

you would be suprised...  it actually took me a bit to find it cause that class was not in the Adobe Technology Platform ActionScript Reference.
