Hi
I'm developing a Windows application with C# in Visual Studio 2005.
My users will install my application on their computers in diffrent cities.
I'd like my users to register my application online.
I think I should add a special component to my Application and also I need to have a Web Service for this purpose on my website.
But I don't know how to do it.
Would you please help me how to accomplish this task.

Could you please clarify what the registration process if for? Is it to activate trialware (time-limited software), or is it simply to gather statistics on the people who are using your software?

If you are trying to activate trialware, you could add a licensing component into your application (like a product key). If you are implementing registration to gather statistics your customers, you could invisibly run a HTTP request to a specific webpage.

Yes. I'd like to activate trialware by registering online. What is a licensing component? How can I use it?
