Hi Experts,

How can the label be displayed beside the text box? Currently the label is displayed under the textbox.

Thanks
<td width="88%" colspan="3">
<input type="text" id="txtname" name="txtname" size="45"><label class="lblreqd" id="lblname">*required</label>
</td>

Not sure if I understand what you mean. I created a small page that includes your snippet and it aligns perfectly well on the same line as the base line: http://www.undermyskin.org/external-examples/ee-questions/Q_24416250/

this is the main part:

<table border="1">
    <tr>
        <td width="12%">col1</td>
        <td width="30%" >col2</td>
        <td width="30%" >col3</td>
        <td width="28%" >col4</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
        <td width="12%">col1</td>
        <td width="88%" colspan="3">
            <input type="text" id="txtname" name="txtname" size="45"><label class="lblreqd" id="lblname">*required</label>
        </td>
    </tr>
</table>
