When I try to transfer or copy a file out of the Asterisk Server  the transfer continually has an error box appear that says Host has not answered for more than 15 secs....still waiting.  The transfer seems to continue (Little paper keeps flying) but the speed slowly but steadily slows from 3.5 k B/s to like 256 B/s then the error window dissappears for another 15 secs.....when it reappears the transfer bar has proceeded about 20% and the whole thing repeats until it finally seems to complete and the window closes....but the transfer really never is complete....actual transfer is still only 10-20%.  Whass-up??????

It could be a busy network or server.

OR

Problem in network interface mode / speed config (full / single duplex, 10/100/1000 Mbps)

I have been checking....duplex setup between PBX and switch port matches ...100mps
Not sure what you mean by "Mode"

The interesting part is any files under 50k transfer fine.

I am trying to use a recording preview app in Trix ce....That also does not work and gets the same time out. Direct access to file at server allows easy transfer to a flash drive.

Not sure where to go????
