2 Flash movies on 1 page. How to interact with both?

2 Flash movies on 1 page 1st movie playing on top.
I have 2 flash movies in AS3. The first movie is a menu that is wmode=transparent and overlaps on html and the flash banner below. I use a div tag/

Now I would like to interact with the Flash banner below the menu. Is this possible? So far I cannot interact with the 2nd flash movie below the menu.

Perhaps I have to use layers. Not sure.

Thoughts?

you have two options...

External Interface and Javascript, or a better solution of using LocalConnection

here is a link to some External Interface help...

http://www.experts-exchange.com/Software/Photos_Graphics/Web_Graphics/Macromedia_Flash/ActionScript/Q_24371711.html

and here is some info about LocalConnection, which is what I would recommend...

Nope not what I was after. I created a solution using div tag and javascript to dynamically resize the first MC so I can click on the 2nd MC under it.

When asking a question here at EE you should follow up in a timely manner after experts provide feedback or comments.  If this was not the solution that you where after, then that should have been stated.  This not only helps to foster a better community, where experts donate their time for free, but it also helps to clean up the opens questions so that others can benefit from the findings.

Please finish up the question or contact a Mod to have them help you.
