Hello,
Here is my problem, I have a portable with a 3G network connection, which works well, for most thinks. I would like to be able to enable my wireless connection on my portable, so that i can use it as a gateway for my xbox or ipod, for example.  Most of the googling i have done seems to be , get and access point, this i not an option, as i spend most of my time in hotels, and therefore do not have a fixed access point!

If turning my dell portable into a wireless access point it not possible, then would it be possible to set up the dell so that other ethernet devices could use it as a gateway?
thanks in advance
tim
