How to copy SMS messages from

Hi.

My phone device is HTC Touch Cruise with Windows Mobile 6.0 RUS, 128Mb RAM/128Mb flash + 8Gb memory card.
My PC is Pentium-D 3.2GHz/4Gb RAM/1Tb HDD, Windows Vista SP1.

I need to find a way to copy SMS messages from HTC Touch Cruise device to PC.
Unfortunately exploring device memory did not help me to find where it could store SMS messages.

I need to copy SMS messages by 2 reasons:
1) there is important account tracking info that I need to backup in other form than SMS messages (want to copy to MS Excel).
2) there are some private messages I want to save somewhere also and then cleanup it in phone.
So, the idea is - to copy all important SMS messages from phone to PC and then cleanup them on phone.

When I connected device to PC I started Windows Explorer and explored following folders on my phone:
\Application Data\ (and all subfolders)
\Documents and Settings\ (and subfolders)
\Windows\ (and subfolders)

But I did not find anything that looks like SMS messages. That is why I'm wondering - how can I copy SMS messages from phone to PC?!

I hope such smart device as HTC Touch Cruise must be able to do it.

Help me pls with this task.
