HP pavilion driver problem, Restoring acronis image

Hi
I have a dead hp vista laptop with an acronis backup image. I am trying too apply the image to a different HP laptop using acronis  universal restore. The image restore but blue screen on laptop Acronis universal restore is looking for the following driver cannot make sense of it thaks "driver = 'PCI\VEN_8086&Dev_2829subsys_20CD103C&ev_3

That looks like the driver for the Intel ICH8 Hard drive controller.  You might have to run a "repair" install to get it up and running again.  To do that follow the instructions here http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html
You do need a vista CD to do this though.

I tried the vista repair already did not reslove the issue, The laptop is hp pavilion dv2500 with service tag dv2620ea tried the hp support site but maybe giving universal restore wrong driver doing my head in...

Your right it was the hd driver found the drivers
