What about download for IM+ and iSkoot so we can try it out?

IM+ is the one I would recommend out of the two if you want to try one now.

P.S. iSkoot dials a landline number to make a connection to the Skype network.

Yes...we found that link...unfortunatly it says that skype is staring in beta-mode now; and directly says SKYPE CHAT. So I don't know if it will permit Skype Talk.

Another thing...in the download screen, which is for Blackberry 9000?

The 9000 is the Bold and it has firmware 4.6.0.x

iSkoot is definitely out of the question.

What about IM+? Do u someone that attest to its functionality & use?

I guess the bottomline is cost. IM+ has tag for $30 buck and in one of your link I read that Skype will be out soon for Blackberry.

Do you know if the version for Skype for this unit will be for free?
